It is with deep regret we must announce the cancellation of Garmin Challenge Herning on
11 June 2022. We are unable to deliver the event to the standard required that guarantees athletes’ safety on a closed bike course due to the lack of availability of qualified traffic officials.
We have worked closely with the City of Herning and Triathlon Denmark to try and find a solution to no avail. Safety is something we are not prepared to compromise on, so we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the event.
All athletes have already been contacted via email with details of the next steps regarding their entries.
