[PRESS RELEASE] New website and renewed support for Garmin Challenge Herning: ‘We can’t wait to have you in June’

After a period of silence, we are very pleased to bring you some positive news today. Since the coronavirus forced us to cancel the GARMIN CHALLENGEHERNING and refund your entry fees, we haven’t been idle, of course. Behind the scenes we’ve worked very hard on the 2021 edition of GARMIN CHALLENGEHERNING. Today we are launching a new website, we look forward to June 12th and of course we are very thankful for the city of Herning, which will continue to support us for at least another three years.

So, just to be clear the new date for the GARMIN CHALLENGEHERNING is June 12th 2021. “And we are already looking forward to that”, explains CHALLENGEFAMILY Head of Global Operations Tomas Vrzak. “We are still disappointed that our 2020 edition couldn’t take place, but we have turned our disappointment into some extra passion to make the 2021 edition a huge success. We can’t wait to see all the athletes enjoying this beautiful and fast course again, whether it’s individually or as a team.”

While athletes can already enjoy the new website of the GARMIN CHALLENGEHERNING, more detailed information about courses and registration will follow as soon as possible. “But one thing we do know for sure: we are going to make the race to a big spectacle next year!”

About GARMIN CHALLENGEHERNING

GARMIN CHALLENGEHERNING takes place in some beautiful surroundings. Athletes start their day in the clear waters of the beautiful Lake Fuglsang, where the water is calm and fast swimming times are no exception. During their bike ride, athletes pass amazing nature, but also small villages and the main street of Vildbjerg. This is a unique opportunity to see more of Denmark. The bike course is mainly flat, only includes one small climb and therefore guarantees fast times as well. While ending your triathlon with the run through Herning you can count on tens of thousands of supporters and our amazing local volunteers!”
